According to Komoot, it’s Mollis to Prague 804km and 6690m of climbing. I will probably make a stopover in Passau after about 550km and 6 days, as my wife Gyong-Sug is going there by train and will then continue with Werner via the Bavarian Forest towards Freiburg. A good 50 km after Passau, I will reach the highest point (approx. 1152 meters above sea level) of my journey.
On the first day I was invited to lunch by my cousin (also a Niklaus Giger) and his wife at the Auhof in Sevelen. I had already booked my first overnight stay a few days before at the Hotel Krone in Hard (near Bregenz), as I would be meeting Werner there to cycle with him to Passau.
